A wrong figure
If something on this site is wrong — a waist width, a DIN range, a brake width, a filter category, a temperature band, a price band, or a description of how a mechanism works — say so. It is checked, it is corrected, and the page keeps a record of what changed and when. Of everything that arrives in the inbox this is the most useful, and it is dealt with first.
A question about something published here
Everything is read, and anything answerable is answered. A question that arrives for the third or fourth time stops being an email and becomes a page, which reaches far more people than a private reply ever would.
If you write on behalf of a manufacturer
Data sheets, mounting instructions, compatibility tables and corrections of fact are all welcome, and they really do change what the pages say. What cannot be bought: a place in a family, a sentence, or a mention. Equipment sent unasked buys nothing and reserves nothing, and offers of that kind are not answered.
