This shelf needs a warning before it needs a specification, because the search term that fills it also fills it with something else. A great deal of what is sold as wall storage here is a general-purpose garage hook — ladder hooks in packs of eight, four-tier brackets rated for surfboards, a load-bearing tool rail at 160 kg — and those will hold skis in the sense that a nail holds skis. A purpose-made rack differs in one detail: the bearing surface is padded or rubber-sleeved, because a bare steel hook under a ski's own weight marks the topsheet and, worse, the base. Once that is settled, the figures. Pairs held is the headline, and it does not track the price — a 15 € steel bar takes two pairs and a rack for eight pairs costs 94 € — so it is worth counting the household honestly, because skis accumulate. The stated load capacity is the second: 25 kg per tier on one, 40 kg on another, and a pair of alpine skis with bindings is 4 to 5 kg. Poles are the detail that separates a rack from a pair of hooks: a rack with its own pole slots keeps them off the floor, and half of this shelf has them.
